Why a life coach?

More often than what’s a life coach, I’m asked the question, WHY would I need a life coach? Let me reply to this with a few questions of my own. Have you ever felt stuck? Frustrated? Confused? Have you spent years pushing your way up the corporate ladder, or committing to raising your kids to your best ability, and either way you NAILED it! Yet here you are feeling empty or lost or like there just has to be more?

Have you poured yourself out until there is nothing left to give yet feel unappreciated, unloved, or, even worse, invisible? Have you ever asked, what about me? Or have you wondered, who AM I anyway? More than this, you feel like you have no one to talk too who won’t think you’re losing it!

missing piece

Do you feel like there is a piece missing?

Are you considering doing something totally out of character (dumping your job; leaving your spouse; starting life fresh; or reaching for something exciting and adventurous) and people say that it’s just a mid-life crisis, you’ll get over it? Did you know that mid-life crises are not just for people of middle age but of many ages? Did you know that childhood traumas, whether you remember them or not, can keep you from being the real you? Can STOP you from reaching for goals and dreams? Can hold you from believing that you could even try? Did you ever consider that maybe the crisis here is leaving this unexplored and not asking why?

Did you know that OFTEN people in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s yearn to go after that long forgotten dream that never forgot them? Did you know that few dare? They don’t know where to start. It would be crazy, irresponsible, and it’s too late, isn’t it?

Did you know many people think that learning about themselves will make things worse but in reality exploring and discovering the real YOU releases you from false barriers and opens up a whole new world of potential?

Here’s the deal, chances are you aren’t losing it. You need a life coach.

Whether it’s looking at personal development, career guidance, or personal finance help, self-discovery, self-care, balance, or finding your purpose; whether it’s considering new life directions, goal setting and action planning, or actualizing a dream; or maybe it’s wanting to learn about the 7 elements of total health, the 9 key strengths of positive psychology –the door to change, or exploring Choice Psychology, and so much more… I’m here for you.

I fulfilled my dream!

Through the course, “Finding Your Purpose”, Liette was instrumental in guiding me to a deeper understanding of myself, my gifts and abilities which ultimately lead me to finally fulfill a dream that I had been saying “someday” about for years. During this process, I experienced first hand the positive encouragement, gentle care and wisdom of Liette.

Liette gave us applicable hope

We walked into this carrying feelings of heavy discouragement and thinking it was going to be a life sentence. Yet Liette gave us applicable hope by words but also by her skills she worked on paper. Things are much clearer and we are working hard to keep to our goals.

Never did I have a client return unsatisfied

I am a Case Manager for the Department of Social Development, Income Assistance.

I have worked with Liette Collier for several years now in the capacity of her facilitating a life skills program to which I referred clients from my caseload. It was one of my most successful tools, with close to 100% percent progression rate amongst those who started the program. While Liette was not the only facilitator working the program, she was the one whom I requested for my clients, especially those who I considered to be “hard to crack” cases.

My clients, male or female, young or “older”, would return to my office and tell me how much Liette helped them and believed in them. Never did I have a client return unsatisfied.

Liette helped me realize my potential!

When I first started (group coaching), I was shy, apprehensive, and untrusting of other women. Liette slowly and masterfully, pulled me out of my deep rooted thought processes, and helped me realize my potential and my abilities that I never even believed were there.

Since completing her program, I weaned myself off methadone, left behind unhealthy relationships, completed my GED, completed other courses, and am back to work, applying for college, and in a healthy, loving partnership. I'm a better mom, I know how to take care of myself first, and now have a passion for connecting with other women in need and helping them build themselves up, like Liette once did for me and many other young women.

Liette reconciled individual ideas into a couple's vision

We were sinking in a hole of unknown facts and we were getting to a point that our finances were always the start of an argument. We didn’t know what we actually owed or even made for that matter. We were going blind and fighting about it.

Liette helped put some objectivity to our situation that we couldn’t see for ourselves. She reconciled individual ideas into a couple’s vision for the future and we have a debt free date that is realistic and attainable (10 yrs) which includes our mortgage. The small perks of this coaching has been that we haven’t fought about money, we have a date night planned at least once a month, we’ve done extraordinary things that didn’t cost any money and we did them as a couple . Thank you to Liette!”
